Mo MoCCA

Friend of the Blog Amanda ("Shrinking Indigo") replied to the previous post to point out that my work is on the poster for the MoCCA exhibit. Why, so it is.

She also promised to check out the show and let me know how it looks. That'd be great! ...and same goes for anyone else in the vicinity of 594 Broadway in the next few months. Right now I don't plan to visit New York City before next January, but y'never know. I like the town and it would be fun.

Thanks, Indigo.

Wow -- not just on the poster, but in the featured, eye-catching spot! Headliner, even.

But I do wonder why that particular panel was chosen. Not that there's anything wrong with it, and my art appreciation skills are right down there with my dancing skills, but I think there are a lot of other panels in Mom's Cancer that would have better showcased your style, wit, and insight.

First, thanks for the nice compliments. I imagine one reason they used that panel is it's from a page I sent them! Given the theme of the exhibit, I tried to pick some passages that supported the ideas of personal expression, niche audience, etc.

Beyond that, I'm just thrilled to be included.
