I just find ink and paper transcendently hypnotic in a way I've never found a computer. I don't think working on the latter will ever feel like "doing art" to me.Brian Fieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16347700145666751363noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16899684.post-60252649957889043422007-03-07T09:05:00.000-08:002007-03-07T09:05:00.000-08:00You make a good point.I switched over to digital r...You make a good point.
I switched over to digital recently. Completly. No more smeared ink, no white out, no brush washing, no pencil sharpening, no eraser crumbs... and no origanal. Digital art is like a rainbow. Something visible under the right circumstances, but you can't handle or display the real thing.
Then again, I'm no Windsor McCay. My originals = silverfish chow. If, with time and practice I get as good as you pros, I'll break out the brush and bristol again.Namowal (Jennifer Bourne)https://www.blogger.com/profile/00384500508934864421noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16899684.post-47639513300706204652007-03-06T18:44:00.000-08:002007-03-06T18:44:00.000-08:00Fascinating!I can't imagine this post being too in...Fascinating!
I can't imagine this post being too inside for anyone, except those with no artistic ability at all.
Wait, I have no artistic ability and I found it...well, fascinating.
I'm afraid we will all lament the lack of original art pages in the future.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14702136958579137033noreply@blogger.com
